About us
We are Rebur Ltd, a freelance company specialising in Design, Estimation and CAD drawings for Mechanical & Electrical Building Services.
Our aim is to develop a sustainable business that provides a fun and supportive working environment. We champion flexible working, and we value the importance of personal development with training and mentorship. We strive to be the best at what we do. We have high standards in terms of the quality of our outputs and have earned a strong reputation as a result.
How did it start?
Rebur CAD Services was established during the summer of 2020 amidst the COVID pandemic.
Our founder Rebecca had a young son and was pregnant with her second child when her employer made redundancies due to the resulting downturn from lockdown. Weighing up employment options whilst raising a young family Rebecca made the decision to establish Rebur CAD Services Ltd offering freelance M&E CAD support. She built a small client base, working part time through her maternity and following the birth of her second son.
Demand for our CAD Services grew as Consultants and Contractors sought-out the flexibility we were able to offer. Clients also began to request Rebecca’s services as a Mechanical Designer and Estimator.
Rebur CAD Services popularity has steadily grown since 2020, building on a strong reputation of quality and reliability. The company evolved to offer Mechanical design and Estimation alongside CAD services, so we rebranded to Rebur Ltd in 2023.
Rebecca Burke
Rebecca holds a 2:1 BEng degree in Building Services Engineering and Sustainable Design from UCLAN and has over 20 years’ experience within the M&E industry. Rebecca is the company lead for Mechanical Design and Estimation, she also produces 2D CAD Drawings and has set up CAD procedures, CAD systems and new standards for previous employers and again now for this new venture.
Rebecca has 2 young active boys and enjoys spending time outdoors with them, mainly to tire them out!
Polly Burke
Polly joined Rebur CAD Services in 2021, she produces 2D CAD drawings for tender, construction/working drawings, as installed and co-ordination drawings.
Previously Polly spent 14 years in a target driven administrative setting for a large organisation. She led teams spread across different sites, skilfully managing the challenges this type of role inevitably brings.
In 2021 Polly sought out new challenges and a different approach to working life. She re-trained in CAD and is now using her diverse skills to help Rebur Ltd grow. She is solution focussed; enjoys solving problems and the sense of achievement from completing a task. She is also creative with particular attention to detail, which comes in handy in her role!
